Responsibilities

Provides oversight of operations within the Respiratory Care Department during a specific shift including serving as a resource for staff ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization and quality of patient care.

Qualifications

Required:

* Three years respiratory care experience
* High School Diploma/GED and Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program
* AZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners License
* Certified Respiratory Therapist-CRT from National Board of Respiratory Care
* American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
* American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree
* Registered Respiratory Therapist

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
