UWM is seeking a qualified attorney to support the company with title examination and other title related matters. The need is in the state of Florida.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

* Examining public record, abstracts of title, leases, contracts and other legal documents to determine land ownership and lien position of residential property• Drafting legal documents regarding property ownership and opinions on title• Interpreting and providing advice on title related issues• Reviewing and assisting with title claims• Researching deed, filing, and other title related legal requirements• Communicating with title companies regarding processing and procedural issues• Ensuring compliance with UWM policies and procedures• Editing legal documents for accuracy• Providing support and assistance to members of the Legal team

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

* Admission to the Florida state Bar • Bachelors and J.D.• 3+ years of in-depth experience with title examination and review• Possess a thorough understanding of the title process• Have a commitment to continuous business improvement• Be capable of working closely with internal clients and meeting internal SLAs• Have effective planning, organizational and project management skills• Be able to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy• Have excellent written and communication skills• Have the ability to work independently• Have critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills• Be self-motivated and able to work well in a team based environment
