Pay: $37.86 - $43.06 per hour, depending on education and years of experience.

Job Summary:

Operates nuclear SPECT camera/computer systems to produce scans of specific anatomical areas and organs for evaluation by trained physicians.

Responsibilities:

* Perform all procedures and exams handled by the Nuclear Medicine Department
* Administration of radio-pharmaceutical preparations
* Maintain records for receipt, storage, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
* Position and transfer patients, providing immobilization devices as necessary

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or Equivalency required
* Satisfaction of formal nuclear technologist training in an approved school
* ARRT Certification
* NYS Radiation License
* 1-3 years experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
* Successful completion of formal training of at least 3 months in an approved nuclear medicine department
