Job Summary:
Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified general surgeon to join their established practice in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Qualified Candidates:
* Board certified/board eligible in general surgery
* Robotics training and interest is preferred
* Ability to obtain KY license
* New residents and experienced surgeons will be considered
* Available to start fall/winter 2024

* Frankfort Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited, 173 bed acute care facility
* Level III Trauma Center
* Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 primary PCI and accredited Primary Stroke Center
* Magnet designation for nursing excellence
* Mix of inpatient/outpatient
* Cover only 1 hospital; practice located adjacent to hospital campus
* Join 2 experienced general surgeons, 3rd Legacy physician retiring after 25+ years with Capital Surgical
* Typical Week: 1:3 call, 2-2.5 days of clinic per week, 2-2.5 days in the OR
* Freedom to practice broad surgical skills; can accommodate interests based on skillset
* DaVinci XI robot with block availability, First Assistants, 4 Operating Rooms
* 1:3 Call, Call Pay Day 1, night call from home
* Supportive medical staff and administration
