Job Title: Vice President, Rare Disease and Pediatrics

Job Location: United Stated - Remote

Job Overview:

The Vice President, Rare Disease and Pediatrics is responsible for leading and supporting client relationship(s) and contributes to the strategic and growth initiatives for the Rare Disease and Pediatrics business unit. Facilitates growth by working directly with key business partners and implementing processes to support business growth in Rare Disease and Pediatrics. Builds contacts and relationships with current and prospective customer and business partners while furthering the overall mission and values of the organization.

In addition, the Vice President, Rare Disease and Pediatrics may have direct oversight of Clinical Development and Project Management teams within an assigned Therapeutic Area. Responsibilities include global growth of the Clinical Development and Project Management teams, regional sales and customer service, global project strategy, and regional staff oversight with the assurance that growth and profitability goals and objectives are met. Oversees the activities of the Clinical Development and Project Management staff and provides guidance and mentoring on projects. The VP of Rare Disease and Pediatrics partners with global department leaders to ensure smooth interactions leading to successful fulfillment of corporate goals and objectives. Facilitates the implementation of clinical trial projects. Develops and conducts client project presentations. Assists with business development efforts to assess project feasibility, develops proposals, defines requirements and budgets, and assists with project bid defenses.

Job Requirements:

Education

* BS, BA, or MS, MA required in relevant discipline in life sciences or related field.

Experience

* At least 15+ years industry, 15+ years CRO.
* Strong background in clinical research, commercial, and operational expertise.
* Department Management
* Focused Therapeutic expertise in Rare Disease and Pediatrics.
