ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY DIRECTOR
SALARY $100-$130K

Concord, NC Manufacturer seeking EHS Director....responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and environmentally sustainable workplace. This will oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental protection. The EHS Director collaborates with various departments to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement measures to mitigate them to establish the cultural path to a zero-injury environment. Additionally, they lead training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and environmental conservation practices.

REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or a related field and relevant certifications (CSP, CIH, etc) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing EHS management
• In-depth knowledge of Title V Air Quality Permits and associated monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting
• Experience with handling disposal of hazardous waste
