* Provide administrative and clerical support to an Assistant District Attorney (ADA), including drafting and editing correspondence, filing and delivering documents and pleadings, and organizing documents, files, and projects. 
* Prepare, process, and monitor various legal documents or processes and attend court. 
* Prepare specialized analytical reports and coordinate in-house projects. 
* Organize and coordinate the work of your assigned ADA, review and prioritize shifting objectives, and provide administrative support to the ADA. 
* Represent the District Attorney's Office to the public. 
* Perform work that requires comprehensive knowledge of the functions and activities of the office. 
* Perform work that requires considerable initiative, independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in carrying out your duties, often in stressful situations. 
* Perform other duties as assigned.  
* Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field, and 
* At least four (4) years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal secretary, or executive assistant in the legal field; or 
* Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
* Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs. 
* Clerical testing will be conducted during the interview process for selected candidates. 
* Legal and/or court experience is highly preferred.
