The job of the Behavior Technician Lead is done for the purpose/s of providing social/emotional and co-regulatory support to the school program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of students, all of whom have identified special education needs in a self-contained special education classroom; monitoring student behavior during nonclassroom time; providing information to appropriate school personnel, and assisting in data collection as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Associates Degree
  • Illinois Paraprofessional or Substitute Teacher license
  • Job related experience is desired
