The role you'll contribute:

Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager, with the clinical supervision of the Radiologist performs examinations of patients of all ages for assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Must maintain CE requirements.
* Maintain Patient safety.
* Must be CPR certified.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Must be able to interact with patients and physicians in a professional and ethical manner.
* Must be able to produce very high quality special imaging with little supervision.
* Must be willing and able to assist the Radiologist in his/her interpretation of exams.
* Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
* Must be familiar with age specific criteria.
* Able to demonstrate competency in all applicable areas.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School graduate or equivalent

Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

CPR certified
