Who You Are:
You are an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in sleep disorder testing and management. You bring a deep understanding of sleep disorders and patient care, and possess the ability to work independently, manage and direct teams, and handle complex situations with sound judgment and initiative.
What You'll Do:
* Facilitating communication between the Sleep Center, Medical Staff, and other hospital departments.
* Developing and maintaining communication channels between management and staff.
* Monitoring trends and developing new programs to enhance departmental techniques.
* Delivering educational programs on sleep disorders to the public.
* Managing staff, ensuring compliance with quality improvement programs, and maintaining technical equipment.
* Overseeing the hiring process, staff training, and orientation.
* Creating a positive work environment and managing personnel actions.
What You'll Bring:
* Associate's degree or equivalent, preferably in a clinical setting.
* Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
* Current registration as a Polysomnographer (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists required
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
* Proficiency in patient care specific to sleep disorders and the demographics served.
* The ability to manage stress and workload, respond to unexpected situations, and work with frequent interruptions.
