Description of the role:

Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is currently seeking an Experienced Caregiver for Tuesdays in Lithonia, Georgia. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to our senior clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation with clients
* Prepare meals and assist with feeding
* Administer medication reminders
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
* Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being

Requirements:

* Prior experience as a caregiver, preferably working with seniors
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing exceptional care
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Job Summary:

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an experienced caregiver to join our team in Atlanta/Buckhead. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry. The caregiver will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to seniors in Conyers, Georgia. This individual contributor role will require the caregiver to work 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and experienced individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.

Compensation & Benefits:

The caregiver will receive a competitive hourly pay ranging from $13 to $16, depending on experience. The caregiver will also be paid on a weekly basis. Additionally, the caregiver will have access to on-going training and support from our experienced staff and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

* Provide personal care and assistance to seniors in need, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Remainder of medications and monitor medical conditions
* Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
* Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote mental and physical stimulation
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
* Follow care plans and document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a caregiver, preferably working with seniors
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients
* Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
* Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
