Position Summary:
* Under the supervision of nursing staff provides direct patient care and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
* Assists patient with performing activities of daily living.
* Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
* Observes and records patient behavior and activities. Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
* Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
* Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
Certification Requirements
BLS - required within 45 days of hire.
Handle with Care - Required within 45 days of hire
CNA I - preferred
