CDL Driver Training Program

About us: Polynesian Adventure is the premier operator of sightseeing tours and private transportation to the most sought-after locations in the Hawaiian islands, including breathtaking Haleakala and Road to Hana tours on Maui. On Oahu, we provide the widest variety of tours to Pearl Harbor and the Battleship USS Missouri and regularly thrill guests with our day excursions to Volcanoes National Park on Hawai`i Island and Kaua`i tours to Waimea Canyon's famous movie locations.
Polynesian Adventure Tours, Hawaii's fastest-growing Tour and Transportation company offers Paid Training for the CDL B Permit and license training program for full-time and part-time drivers.
That's right. We pay you while we train you to get the CDL Permit and later upgrade to the CDL B license with airbrakes and passenger endorsement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience, knowledge, and skills required:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Provide a clean, current driver history record
- Have the Aloha Spirit and a desire to share knowledge of our island home
- Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality
- Possesses good customer service skills while servicing visitors.
- Ability to use good judgment and decision-making while handling multiple situations.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Possesses a sense of humor.
- Training pay starts at $17/hour.
