OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Neogen is looking for a Laboratory Support Technician to help maintain the cleanliness in our Raw Materials Quality Control lab. A successful Laboratory Support Technician will strive in a face-paced work environment and enjoy working in a lab setting.
First Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Daily lab cleaning and support functions in the lab
* Daily equipment validation
* Adhere to GMP/GLP/ISO policy and procedures
* Order lab and office supplies for testing
* Complete standard assay procedures to assist in department throughput
* Follow standard operating procedures for equipment calibration and preventative maintenance
* Microsoft suite knowledge to maintain lab functions
* Read and understand procedure documents
* Adhere to PPE guidelines in lab spaces or when handing potentially hazardous materials
* Additional duties as required by leadership
* Maintain a clean workstation
Qualifications:
* Quick problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Organized
* Excellent written and oral communication
Education and/or Experience:
* High School diploma or G.E.D.
