Slots Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ability to practice Genuine Service for internal and external guests.
* Adjust and repair machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts using hand tools.
* Ensure an adequate amount of surplus monitors and parts are in inventory.
* Tests, bench repairs, and evaluates slot machine monitors.
* Maintain other casino electronic devices.
* Examine defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions.
* Conduct general maintenance and/or service on all machines and equipment.
* Conduct daily inspections of gaming machines.
* Participate in programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
* Ensure all slot machines are in working order per Colorado Department of Gaming Regulations.

License and Certifications:

* A Colorado Division of Gaming Support license is required for this position. Must be able to obtain and hold a CO Gaming License.
* TIPs certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

* High School diploma general education (GED).
* Previous money handling and guest service experience preferred.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
* Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
* Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
* Strong tactical skills.
* Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
* Able to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays.
