* Schedule: PRN (Rotating) Two 12 hour shifts in a six week period, minimum. 1 major holiday a year. Alternating shifts between 7a - 7p or 7p - 7a

Responsibilities

Assist with patients/participants care activities.

* Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
* Accommodate patients/participants with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
* Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
* Assist with keeping patients/participants rooms clean and orderly.
* Monitor patients/participants environment for safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate, as needed.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
* Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
