Pacific Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a Class B CDL Shred Truck Driver to join the team at our Mobile Shredding location in Lacey, WA. Previous shred experience would be a huge plus

The schedule will be Monday- Friday, with start times between 5 and 6 am. Starting pay is $29.30 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.
* Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.
* Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
* Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.
* Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.
* A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

* Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 75 pounds.
* Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
* The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
* Continuously going into businesses and interacting with clients.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.
* Be able to pass a WA DOT medical certification upon hire.
* Have clean driving record.
* Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
* Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.
* 1+ years of face to face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.
