Description

The Packaging Associate is responsible for performing daily warehouse tasks such as
  • Order fulfillment processing
  • Vendor receiving processing
  • Quality inspections including maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal
  • Packaging group builds custom packaging for assembled value add projects and raw materials.
  • Packaging involves various skids, lumber, plywood, and packing materials to ensure safe transport of goods to customer locations
  • Responsible for loading and unloading trucks at truck dock

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience with a range of power tools including but not limited to saws, drills, and nail guns
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
  • High school students will be permitted to work prior to graduation if they are 18 or older
  • A valid driver's license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
  • Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery or equipment
