Physician - Medical Director Physiatry/PM&R (In-Patient Rehabilitation)

ONE MEDICAL DIRECTOR & ONE PHYSICIAN OPPORTUNITY - PHYSIATRY (IN-PATIENT REHAB)HELP BUILD A 2 PHYSICIAN IN-PATIENT REHAB PROGRAM WITH PLANS TO OPEN OUTPATIENT CLINIC IN THE FUTURE.
Position Highlights:
- There are two physician opportunities, one of which will be for a medical director for rehab unit averaging 15 operational beds (licensed for more).
- Maintains knowledge of CMS requirements and changes and ensures compliance
- Responsible for all aspects of care for rehab patients: admission, H&P, IPOC, team conference, 3 weekly face-to-face visits, discharge, and all other requirements for individualized care
- Works closely with admission coordinators to assess and admit appropriate rehab patients who meet reasonable and necessary criteria
- Helps lead future structure and growth of unit
- Works closely with rehab manager, nursing and support staff, and hospitalists

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine (Required)
- PM&R residency trained physician
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
- Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years)
