Position Overview:

* Performs ultrasounds procedures including limited and complete ultrasounds, ultrasound component of the biophysical profile, doppler flow studies, and fetal echocardiography.
* Completes temporary ultrasound reports in ultrasound record keeping computer system and patient charting.
* Assumes responsibility for rotating twenty-four hour on-call for weekends and holidays plus on call for week days after regular working hours.
* Conducts multidisciplinary case review on each patient with nurses, genetic counselors, and perinatologists.
* Assists and educates students, new perinatal ultrasonographers and other staff members that need assistance.
* Ensures rooms are stocked with supplies and has required supplies readily available for procedures.
* Acceptable certification or graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography.
* Demonstrates familiarity with AIUM standard OB exam and ultrasound equipment.
