Position Overview:

As an LPN in our Medical-Surgical Unit, you will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from a variety of conditions and surgical procedures. While IV certification is a plus, we understand the importance of comprehensive training. We're offering to provide training and fund your IV certification, enhancing your skills and our patient care simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.

Communicate with collaborating physicians and registered nurses regarding patient care.

Maintain patient health records and ensure confidentiality.

Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.

Facilitate patient recovery, ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Comply with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • Valid LPN license.
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to patient care and comfort.
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaborate in a fast-paced medical environment.

Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN program

Work Experience

One (1) year LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home environment preferred

License/Certification

Current Tennessee State Licensed Practical Nurse with no restrictions

Current CPR/Current Basic Life Support (BLS),

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS)
