Position Highlights:

* Flexible schedule 30-40 hours per week.
* Perform 6-8 scans/day.
* Variety of scans OB, Abdominal, Breast, Venous legs
* Day shift Monday-Friday
* No Holidays

Job Summary

* The Sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered.
* Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting images.
* Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Education and/or Experience

* Graduation of formal ultrasound training program or equivalent approved by ARDMS; six months to one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
* One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

* ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credentialed or board eligible for RDMS credential after passing ARDMS physics boards.
