ADDA is partnering with an IT company that provides managed IT services for clients ranging from retail chains with 300 stores nationwide, to offices with 200+ employees, to manufacturing facilities. They offer consulting, design, technology implementation, cloud solutions, support, and maintenance. We are hiring a Systems Team Manager to oversee their Systems Administration team.

Job Title: Systems Team Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Remote Work; Candidate can be from any state in the USA

Work Schedule: New York Business Hours (Eastern Time)

Job Responsibilities
  • Manager and primary escalation contact for the System Administration team.
  • Lead the design and execution of systems projects for the Managed Service team.
  • Directly accountable for the maintenance, operation and disaster recovery of over one hundred customer production servers, as well as the oversight of more than 1,000 end user devices.
  • Maintain Infrastructure as a service platform located in AWS, and Azure.
  • Assist in the creation and review of customer security and compliance documentation.
  • Facilitate recurring client meetings with their internal management teams.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive infrastructure roadmap for clients, overseeing project management to seamlessly transition core operations into best practices, while maintaining adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Assess hardware and software solutions to determine their compatibility with the client's environment and requirements.
  • Maintain and design internal MSP SaaS applications to efficiently oversee all clients.
  • Monitor and analyze the capabilities and performance of the systems through comparing, evaluating, and implementing new technologies, and integrating systems into the computing environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a System Admin professional
  • A solid technical background in virtual machines, automation, and software as a service is required .
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate an ability and interest in having a hands-on approach to customer service.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written, and communication skills.
  • Should have a working knowledge of AWS, Azure, InTune, Okta, Active Directory, and other Windows-based technologies.
  • Scripting experience with Windows is an added advantage
  • Experience in working with Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus
