Opto-Mechanical Alignment Technician

CEPTON (Nasdaq: CPTN), a leading intelligent lidar solution provider, is seeking an Opto-mechanical Alignment Technician to support the high-volume production in our manufacturing department.  This position is an immediate opening.

Responsibilities

* Assemble micro-electronics using small tools and securing with epoxy and UV adhesive
* Assemble and align high precision optical components.
* Align lasers and detectors using high precision alignment fixtures
* Experience in handling highly sensitive PCB assemblies
* Ability to work utilizing a microscope for extended periods of time

Qualifications

* 3+ years of working experience in the field
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Fast learning, self-motivated and hard working
* Efficient and good at multi-tasking
* Good team player, reliable and independent work style, responsible for outputs and working well under pressure
