Position Overview:
Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures and protocols. Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department. Demonstrates proficiency in information systems, including clinical information system and automated dispensing system. Ensures understanding of Federal and New Jersey laws governing controlled substance dispensing. Prepares sterile products according to policy. Prepare NICU and pediatric doses according to hospital policy.
Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical. Capital Health will require all applicants (including contractors, travelers and consultants) to have an annual flu vaccine prior to start date, with the exception of individuals with medical and religious exemptions.
