Evening Supervisor (FT) - Osage View

This full-time benefit eligible position is responsible for managing a team of employees to ensure proper facility operations are followed in order to create a safe, fun and positive customer experience for our guests. This is a 12-month position that primarily works evenings and weekends and directly supports the Event and Entertainment Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this position successfully, employee must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Supervise a team of Guest Service Attendants to ensure compliance with facility operations
* Assist department managers with general operations and provide feedback on process improvements
* Learn new software systems and train employees in a way that is easily understood and retained
* Possess strong financial skills and the ability to open and close multiple cash drawers within the point-of-sales system
* Manage conflict resolution among staff, guests and the general public
* Have knowledge of and be prepared to communicate general information regarding memberships, pricing and general operations of the Clubhouse
* Manage reservations for recreational areas and room rentals
* Give tours of, and assist renters with access to the event center during designated times
* Help oversee pool operations and assist with required testing
* Lead cinema operations for small, single screen movie theatre within the Clubhouse
* Assist with marketing efforts to include social media, print and digital displays
* Effectively communicate with off-site personnel to troubleshoot equipment and technology
* Maintain a customer service mindset at all times
* Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

* 2 years' experience in facility management, event coordination, hospitality or related field
* A degree in the area of recreation management, business administration, marketing or management is preferred
* Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as ability to manage and motive a team
* Leadership skills and the ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
* Superior computer operation skills
* Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates and other employees
* Exceptional organizational abilities
* Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, letters, procedures, financial statements, and budget reports
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
* Ability to work with little or no supervision
* Ability to use diplomacy and tact when resolving problems
* Ability to identify problems and determine the best course of action for their resolution
* Ability to critically evaluate information for accuracy and usefulness in solving problems
* Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
