FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPENING

LAB TECHNICIAN

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Town of Seabrook and the Seabrook Employees Association, Section 11.6 (2) Vacancies, and in accordance with the Personnel Policy for the Town of Seabrook, Section I, E. Promotion, applications are being accepted for the position of Lab Technician. This position is responsible for conducting analyses in the laboratory and administrative functions associated with the treatment facility's operation as required. Must have the ability to work effectively in a team-based organization and to work independently with two-way communication skills.

Minimum Qualification Include:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 12 semester units in chemistry or biology at a college or university, is preferred
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of analysis in wastewater treatment
  • Certification as a water/wastewater laboratory analyst and State of N.H. Grade II Wastewater Certification are desirable
  • Must complete and pass a physical examination, drug screen, motor vehicle check and criminal background check
  • Valid drivers license
  • Effective communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, general public, state and federal officials

SALARY: $23.816 per hour
