Job Summary:

The Service Advisor at Luther Brookdale Honda will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the service department's daily operations. This individual will serve as a liaison between the customers and the service technicians to ensure all automotive service needs are met. This is a full-time, sales job in the auto industry, and the position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an individual contributor, the Service Advisor will report directly to the Service Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation for this position includes a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Full-time employees are also eligible for comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Listen to customers' concerns and assess their vehicle's service needs
* Document customer information and input it into the dealership's system
* Provide accurate and timely estimates for service repairs
* Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's daily schedule
* Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicles and any additional service needs
* Upsell additional services and products to customers based on their vehicle's needs
* Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs
* Manage and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the service process
* Collect payments from customers and process transactions accurately
* Keep up-to-date with automotive industry trends, technologies, and regulations
* Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures
* Collaborate with team members to achieve department and dealership goals

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
* Knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance is preferred
* Proficiency in dealership management systems and Microsoft Office
* Professional attitude and appearance
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
