Description

Psychologist

As a Partner in Wellbeing, the Psychologist identifies psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues. Administer and interpret psychological tests and measurements and document results internally and for clients. Guide clients through treatment regimens like behavior modification, psychotherapy, and group therapy. Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes. Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. Respond to crises with appropriate interventions and change treatment plans to respond to changing circumstances.

Requirements

Doctorate degree in Psychology and completion of Pre-doctoral Clinical Internship; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. MA level under the MN grandfather clause for psychologists.
• Licensed (or licensable) as a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota.
• Two or more years of direct experience working in a community mental health setting, preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check through MN DHS NetStudy.
• Valid driver's license and insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy.
• Free from substance use problems for no less than 2 years.
