How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

* Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment


* Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment


* Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs


* Verify that daily rounds are recorded. Determine corrective action to be taken in the event of abnormal parameters and ensure that corrective action is completed.


* Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site


* Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers


* Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements


* Assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems.


* Act as Emergency Response Team member/leader


* Commission and start up specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment


* Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 7 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months in job


* Issue Hazardous Work Permits


* Act as primary customer shift interface


* Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment


* Participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance


* Support training of TGCM contractors and TGCM Tech 5 & 6 employees


* Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions


* Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.


* Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures


* Performs minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures


* Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED or 5+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience


* Strong communication skills


* Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions


* Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment


* Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements.


* Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a project


* Electro-mechanical aptitude


* Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions


* Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules


* Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians



Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift 40 lbs


* Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day


* Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)


* Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)


* Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks



Preferred

* Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.

The hourly rate for this position in Texas is $27.50.
