Pay range - $40- $50

Job Description:
** Must be comfortable in a busy, fast paced acute psych hospital. Adaptable, Team player, versatile.
" Must be flexible to work any nights of the week including EOW
" Patient population is all adult: 100 level are depression and suicidal 200 level are severe mental illness 300 level are mix of both. Small detox unit as well.
" Must be able to float between units.
" Med cart, pass meds, admissions, discharges, patient assessments. (10-15 daily)
" Fast paced. May have to deal with aggression with some physical holds.
" No IV or Wound Care.
" Locals are the same rate as travelers.
" 40 % voluntary admission and 60% committed patients (temporary 8 days then transferred).
" Approximate ratio 1:12 At least 2 nurses per unit. Sometimes 1 RN and 1 LPN.
" EOW and 1 holiday per winter season required.
" Handle with Care certification required but can provide that onsite if needed.
" 1 year recent Psych experience required.
