Responsible for performing patient scans under the supervision of a nuclear medicine physician. Duties include calculating radioisotope dosages for administration to patients, operating radioscopic equipment, and practicing strict radiation safety.

Required qualifications:

* Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
* Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
* Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Or
* Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
* 1 year Experience in nuclear medicine (preferred, not required, if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
* 6 months Experience during the last year, or a minimum 2-year full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
