JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Contracts Manager/Paralegal role is integral to the daily operations of our legal department. While prior experience in contracts management is essential, this role also encompasses diverse legal functions. As our department expands, there's potential to specialize in areas like contracts management, legal ops, litigation, or corporate law. This dynamic position focuses on enhancing processes, implementing policies, and fostering growth within the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

* Responsible for providing full contract lifecycle management (CLM) support; review, drafting, negotiation, and administration of a wide range of commercial contracts consistent with company policies and business practices.
* Identify legal and contractual risks and be able to summarize issues and provide practical advice and solutions.
* Ability to assist with implementation of a CLM system in the future.
* Work across multiple legal department areas of focus; contracts, legal operations, outside counsel billing, administration, state corporate filings, litigation support, and board actions and resolutions.
* Analyze current state environments for legal department processes and policies; suggest changes and alternatives necessary for process improvement.
* Manage multiple projects across multiple groups based upon legal initiatives.
* Succinctly communicates status of work, next steps and assist with stakeholder management.
* Become a primary contact for legal inquiries and work with the team to deliver answers and solutions.
* Promote a collaborative culture with a commitment to professional client service.
* Draft legal correspondence and is a highly skilled proof-reader.
* Perform basic paralegal/administrative support as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to listen and learn, and a desire to grow in your career.
* Effective interpersonal skills and strong critical thinking skills with solid judgment.
* Ability to be nimble, and responsive to myriad in-house and customer requests, and have the ability to interact effectively with senior management, colleagues, and customers.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure as well as handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

* BS/BA in a related analytical major
* Minimum 3+ years' experience with increasingly complex responsibilities in a contracts management environment.
* Experience as an individual contributor responsible for review, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts including master service agreements, consulting agreements, procurement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
* Knowledge of commercial law, including UCC and export law is a plus.
* Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Location

The role is located in our Broomfield, Colorado office and is hybrid with onsite 2-3 days a week.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation

* Base: $71,000 to $100,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
* Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
