Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Centre Director. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the Centre in creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Create strong alliances and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
  • Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the NQS and EYLF
  • Build strong relationships with parents, encouraging open communication and involvement in their child's education.
  • Collaborate with the community to create partnerships and enhance the center's offerings.
  • Ensure the center complies with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to maintain and improve the quality of the center's programs.
  • Manage the center's budget effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Explore opportunities for financial growth and sustainability.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma Qualification or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Current Working With Vulnerable People Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Child Protection Training, or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and licensing standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
