Position Summary:

The Billing Clerk will function as support for the Electrical department handling outgoing invoices for the Electrical, Solar, and Controls groups. The main duties include creating invoices for customers, ensuring all invoices are accurate, and resolving potential billing errors before distribution to the customer. This position will be responsible for all aspects of administrative duties in addition to supporting any interdepartmental functions.

Responsibilities:

* Create letterhead invoices for simple contract jobs.
* Create AIA invoices for long-term contract jobs.
* Create Time & Material invoices.
* Prepare sales tax reports.
* Prepare lien waivers.
* Prepare stored material documentation.
* Create vendor supply lists.
* Third-party billing through Taulia, Textura, Procore, etc.
* Ensuring accurate financial records by reconciling our billing with the customer.
* Prepare monthly reports for profit analysis.
* Archive billing records.

Requirements:

* Ability to demonstrate key traits indicative of the HAYNES Way including integrity and professionalism.
* Previous Billing experience a plus.
* Willingness to interact with a variety of internal and external customers with a positive and service-oriented approach.
* Proven approach to critical thinking and problem solving skills.
* Must be able to produce at a high volume while maintaining accuracy.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict and critical deadlines.
* Willingness and ability to gain a working knowledge of general construction functions.
* Ability to work well with others while being flexible in both communication styles with teammates and customer needs and requests.
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn various internal software program applications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must have good organizational skills.
