Job Description:

Summary

Department: Respiratory Therapy

Shift Timings: 18:00-06:30 Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

Per Week: 36 Hours

WI Licensed RCP required - RRT preferred; BLS, ACLS, PALS, EOW to every 3rd;

EOH; current critical care experience required or has worked in critical care within the last 12 months, ability to manage a heavy workload; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed


Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment.
  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
  • Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
  • Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.
  • Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.
