THIS POSITION IS 3PM-12PM

Responsibilities:

Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures on patients using advanced imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

Prepare patients for CT and X-Ray procedures, explaining the procedure and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Position patients properly and ensure their safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Operate CT and X-Ray equipment and adjust settings as needed to obtain high-quality images.

Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during imaging procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or emergencies.

Review CT and X-Ray images for quality and completeness, ensuring accurate documentation and image labeling.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging studies and provide diagnostic information.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines at all times.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on advances in CT and X-Ray imaging technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (X-Ray) required.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist in a clinical setting.

Strong knowledge of CT and X-Ray imaging techniques, protocols, and safety procedures.

Excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Proficiency in operating CT and X-Ray equipment and imaging software.

CPR certification preferred.

$40 - $50 an hour
