**ALL RTO needs to be in at the time of submission. NO RTO will be approved after candidate is presented to facility.

Unit OR Tech
# suites 6 OR suites, 2 cardiac suites, 3 outpatient
# of cases per day 20-25 inpatient, 10-12 outpatient
Required Certifications BLS, NBSTSA
Common Cases A lot of total joints including knees, shoulders, hips; Robotics-XI, Urology, GYN, General, plastics; neuro including spinal & seldom crani's, general, urology - all done in main OR & not OP, a little ENT, outpatient eyes, GI.
Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have at least 2 years' experience or more in specialty or must have experience in larger facility with a lot of spine.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes
Shifts & Scheduling Travelers need to be flexible with schedules. May be asked to change schedule daily depending on needs & cases. Usually 10Hr shifts; 7AM-530PM, 1-1130PM, 11AM-930PM
Weeknight/Call Requirement Rare but hours are 2300-0700 M-F. They have a regular full-time tech working nights, so unless they are on vacation or LOA, there is no night call.
Weekend/Call Requirement Rotating, they have regular weekend staffing, but they still have to backfill with call if one of the regular staff is on vacation. Weekend call 0700-1730 for Sat & Sun.
Holiday/Call Requirement Rotating
What is call response time? 30
Floating Requirements Will be asked to work OPSC (outpatient) & main OR.
Scrub Color/Dress Code Provided
