Medical Oncologist- Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital - Northampton, MA

The Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital exemplifies the future of cancer care in Western Massachusetts. We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to join a talented team of 5 Hematology and Medical Oncologists, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, and 4 Nurse navigators.

This position will be directly employed with Massachusetts General Hospital but will work out of Northampton, MA. Our ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Medical Oncology and have a clinical interest in Breast cancer.

It takes a coordinated relationship between community hospitals and academic medical centers to create a cancer center where the right approach to care and treatment is delivered to the right patient, at the right time, in the right place. * Full-time position with a desirable schedule: 4 clinic days, 1 administrative day per week
* Weekday clinic hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm
* 1-hour new consult appointments and 30 minutes follow up appointments

About the organization:

The Cooley Dickinson Health Care system, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital and Mass General Brigham, has a medical staff of approximately 500 active members (physicians and advanced practice clinicians). The system is comprised of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, as well as a VNA and Hospice. The VNA & Hospice averages 56,500 home care visits and serves an average of 400 hospice patients per year.
