Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide basic medical care under the supervision of licensed nurses, such as taking vital signs and reporting observations.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration for residents.
  • Support residents' mobility and transfer needs safely and with compassion.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents' living spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

 

Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
  • Previous experience in senior care or assisted living settings preferred.
  • Caregiving experience with a CNA certification is a plus.
  • Mental health experience or training preferred.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
