If you are interested in applying for the Early Head Start classroom paraprofessional (caregiver) position, you must submit a letter of interest by June 14, 2019.

Effective Date:
Anticipated date of employment September 2, 2024

Qualifications:
1. AA degree or higher in Early Childhood/Child Development from an accredited college preferred.
2. Diploma in Child Development or Early Childhood or related field required.
3. A minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Comparable Credential
4. Experience working with infants and toddlers.
5. Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and at-risk families.
6. Sound moral character, high ethical standards, and good health.

Salary:
Determined by training and experience

Early Head Start Director

Procedure:
1. Submit resume' and application, including official transcript, by June 14, 2019. (Applications are available at Emanuel County Early Head Start/Pre-K office)
2. All applications will be screened based on the above qualifications.
3. Qualified applicants will be interviewed by a selection committee established by the Early Head Start Policy Council.
4. Early Head Start Director will make the final recommendation to the Early Head Start Policy Council and the Emanuel County Board of Education.
