Job Title: Feed Mill Technician

Starting Pay: $20.60

Reporting to: Feed Mill Manager

Department/Location of Position: Centralia MO

JBS Live Pork Centralia is looking for a full time Feed Mill Production Technician.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
* Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
* Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
* Keep accurate, legible records.
* Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.

Required Qualifications:

* Local to Centralia MO area
* Regular and reliable transportation
* Basic math & computer skills.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to clean and organize work areas.
* Interpersonal skills for working with other employees.
* Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in feed milling or industrial manufacturing work.
* Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity

Travel: May travel 1-3 times per year
