The OR Team Assistant will perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of professional staff.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* High School graduate or GED equivalent.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Multi-focal ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced, high stress area.

Required Length and Type of Experience

One year related experience working in the healthcare field.

Required Licensure or Certification

BLS certified.

Required Physical and Environmental Demands

This job requires the ability to walk six to eight miles in an eight-hour shift and to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This role also requires that an individual be able to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment. Exposure to communicable disease and/or body fluids.
