Description

Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking experienced commercial HVAC/Sheetmetal mechanics to work in the Tampa Florida area with our faster paced special projects team. Mainly hospitals, schools, Universities, and Government facilities. This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Requirements

Requirements and responsibilities:

* Mechanics 4-6 years Commercial Sheetmetal Duct installation experience
* Fabricate, assemble, install, sheet metal equipment and HVAC duct
* Must be able to read blueprints and read specs
* Follow safety procedures
* Ability to work independently on Special Projects
* Background checks, motor vehicle checks, drug screening performed
* Position may include constant walking/standing, lifting/pulling, climbing ladders and outside work with weather conditions.

Essential Functions:

* Climbing up and down ladders
* Push, pull and frequently carry objects as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. -
* Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. - Stand and walk for long periods of time. -
* See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
* Overtime and weekend availability, regular attendance
* Work in heat and various other weather conditions
* Possible travel to current job sites within Florida

* Ver y oír bien con o sin corrección para evitar riesgos de seguridad para sí mismos y para los demás.
* Disponibilidad de horas extras y fines de semana, asistencia regular
* Trabajar en condiciones de calor y varias otras condiciones climáticas
* Viajar a los sitios de trabajo actuales dentro de Florida
