Appointments will be at the assistant, associate or full professor level, tenure earning, tenured or non-tenure earning, commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an MD or pertinent PhD degree. Physicians must be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Candidates are sought with emphasis on clinical care or laboratory based research, particularly in areas of diabetes, metabolism, bone and/or general endocrinology. The Division enjoys a strong clinical endocrinology presence within a major academic medical center and robust medical education and research programs.

UAB Hospital is the centerpiece of the UAB Health System and is the teaching hospital for the Heersink School of Medicine.
