Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Director, Quality/ Patient Safety
Responsible for the implementation of performance improvement initiatives that integrate, support, and link Sentara Healthcare and divisional goals and strategic imperatives. Supports administrative and medical staff leadership, clinical and operational staff in identifying, prioritizing, organizing, and implementing initiatives to improve quality and efficiency, to improve patient safety, and to reduce costs. Manages and supports hospital and medical staff performance improvement and peer review, hospital infection prevention program, all regulatory [CMS] and internal reporting metrics, and patient safety program
Travel required.
Requirements:
* BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Nursing (Required)
* Current State issued Registered Nurse license.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
* 5 years of Nursing Leadership
* Previous Experience in Data Analysist
Job Summary

Qualifications:
N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
