Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative psychiatrist to join our team at Foundation Behavioral Health Services, a leading inpatient facility for the greater-Nashua area offering comprehensive mental health care services. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric care to patients across our inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) settings.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients admitted to the 18-bed inpatient unit.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, for patients across all levels of care.
* Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to patients in the PHP and IOP programs.
* Collaborate with the treatment team, including therapists, nurses, case managers, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
* Stay current with the latest advancements in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment through ongoing professional development.
* Participate in administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

* Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
* Active medical license in the state of NH (or working towards)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychiatric care in an inpatient or outpatient setting
* Experience with evidence-based practices and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with EPIC EMR

Work Shift:

36 patient contact/4 hours per week
