Performs laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care. Supports the leadership team, providing guidance and training for staff. Estimated pay range for this position is $32.60 - $42.38 / hour depending on experience.

* Additional Details:
* The Lead Med Tech may be required to travel to different sites (as needed) for trainings.
* Lead Med Tech will function as a trainer for CST/LPNs that will be working in the Lab.
* Will be required to follow up on trainees to ensure onsite training is completed.
* Communicate with site leaders on status of trainee.
* Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. (May change depending on needs)
* Preferred experience training lab employees.
* Preferred experience with presentations for large audiences.



Degrees: Associates Licenses & Certifications: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Additional Qualifications: External candidate requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Biological, Chemical, Physical or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida. Internal candidate requirements: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida. All candidates require a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in appropriate discipline(s) with complete knowledge of medical technology theory and practice. Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License Preferred Minimum Required Experience:

* Preferred experience training lab employees.
* Preferred experience with presentations for large audiences.
