Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary: Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred (especially health-system), but not required.

Licenses /Certifications: Current pharmacy technician registration by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy; Current pharmacy technician certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
