Scheduler

Job Description:

The Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating scheduling activities between various stakeholders involved in the construction of the manufacturing facility. This position will serve as a liaison between the NN Project Manager (PM), NN internal scheduling team, and BE&K scheduling team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Coordination: Collaborate with the NN PM, NN internal scheduling team, and BE&K scheduling team to develop, update, and maintain project schedules for the manufacturing facility construction.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related matters, facilitating communication and coordination between different parties involved in the project.
  • Schedule Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of project schedules to identify potential conflicts, delays, or opportunities for optimization, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, progress updates, and potential risks to project timelines.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing changes to the project schedule, including evaluating impacts, negotiating adjustments, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation: Work with project teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure that project schedules are realistic and achievable.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies for future projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in scheduling and project coordination within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
